There Is Still Hope

Chances are, if you have stumbled upon my website, you are probably feeling frustrated.  You might have tried a lot of other options before you sought the help of a competent therapist.  You might have talked with family and friends about your struggles. Still, the problem remains unsolved.  In fact, it continues to get worse.

Every one of us has an innate capacity to heal. But since humans are essentially social creatures, our healing can’t be done alone.  To truly move beyond those issues which hold us back, we must share our pain with someone that we trust.

Sounds easy, doesn't it?  But think about the people in your life - your support system, your friends and family.  Even though they may be very well-meaning, who can you really talk to about these issues?  Who can sit and listen without judgment?  Who can see your situation clearly?  Who is tending to your emotional needs?

I would like to help if I can.

What Does Therapy Have To Offer Me?

Here are some of the reasons that therapy might be a value to you:

  • A safe environment that focuses exclusively on your needs
  • An understanding of the underlying patterns that keep you from getting what you need
  • A deeper experience of intimacy which leads to richer relationships
  • Relief from the isolation and pain that makes you feel like an outsider ... even in your own home

I am a professional counselor, licensed by the State of Texas, and  I enjoy working with either individuals or couples.  If you would like the opportunity to get to know me better, please contact me by phone at (512) 468-7832.  We can set up a free 30-minute visit to determine if I am the best counselor to suit your needs.  I'm looking forward to hearing from you.

If you are still undecided about whether psychotherapy might be the best option for you, feel free to browse through my site.  It tells a little more about me, and how I might be able to help with whatever is troubling you.
